Lawyer Sarzhanov Galymzhan Turlybekovich was born on July 22, 1985 in the Kyzylorda region, in the Kazalinsky district, in the village of Orkendeu. In 2002, he graduated from the secondary school of K. Satbayev in the village of Atakent, Makhtaaral district, South Kazakhstan region.

In the same year, he entered the Karaganda Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2006 he successfully graduated from this Higher Educational Institution.

He began his career in May 2006 in the Department of Search for Criminal Offenders, Missing and Unidentified Corpses, in the Department of Internal Affairs of the Zhambyl district of the Almaty region. In November 2006, he transferred to the service in the Department of Internal Affairs of the city of Astana, in the department of solving crimes against the person. In December 2007, he began working in the Department for Combating Drug Business, in the Department of Development of Interregional Drug Groups and Interdepartmental Coordination. In 2010, he resigned from the internal affairs bodies and began to engage in entrepreneurial activities. In 2012, he was the founder and head of the construction company ZhagSar LLP.
