On some issues of import of tomatoes into the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Order of the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 22, 2026 No. 250. Registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan on June 22, 2026 No. 39026

 In accordance with paragraph 2 of Article 17 and paragraph 1 of Article 18 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Regulation of Trading Activities", subparagraph 11) of paragraph 1 of Article 6, subparagraph 1) Paragraph 2 of Article 22 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On National Security of the Republic of Kazakhstan", section 10 of Annex 7 to the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union dated May 29, 2014, ratified by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Ratification of the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union", I ORDER:

     1. To introduce, by June 30, 2026, a ban on the import of fresh or chilled tomatoes (Commodity Nomenclature code for foreign economic Activity of the Eurasian Economic Union: 0702) into the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan by all modes of transport from third countries, with the exception of the import of tomatoes from the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union, transit of tomatoes through the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as their movement from the territory of one member State of the Eurasian Economic Union to the territory of another member State of the Eurasian Economic Union through the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     2. The Committee of the State Inspection in the Agro-industrial Complex of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in cooperation with the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, within its competence, take the necessary measures to ensure the implementation of paragraph 1 of this order in accordance with the procedure established by law.

     3. The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in accordance with the procedure established by law, inform the Eurasian Economic Commission on the application of measures to implement paragraph 1 of this order.

     4. The Department of Agri-food Markets and Processing of Agricultural Products of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in accordance with the procedure established by law, shall ensure:

     1) the state registration of this order in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

     2) posting of this order on the Internet resource of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan after its official publication.

     5. Control over the execution of this order is entrusted to the supervising Vice Minister of Agriculture.

     6. This order shall enter into force from the date of its first official publication.
