The Turkestan Regional Court is investigating criminal case No. 5199-22-00-1a/372 against Kanaev A.N. under art. 24 part 3, art. 99 Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. On 17.11.2022, the first court session was held after the appointment of a judicial investigation by the judicial board for criminal cases. The state prosecutor is K. Zhienbekov. He appeared at the court session without supervisory proceedings for a particularly serious crime, took a passive position, completely avoiding examining evidence, in fact placing the burden of proof on the victim's representatives. It seemed that he was not familiar with the materials of the criminal case. Moreover, in compliance with the requirements of Article 24 of the CPC of the Republic of Kazakhstan, I asked the state prosecutor to ensure the appearance of investigators for questioning as witnesses at the court session in order to eliminate contradictions in the testimony of witnesses who told the court that they had not read their testimony during the investigation, but simply signed it at the request of the investigator, the state prosecutor forwarded My request to the court!
