About akims of regions, Astana and Almaty cities

Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 12, 2006 No. 3

To be published in the republican press

            In accordance with paragraph 5 of Article 87 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in connection with the termination of the powers of the akims of the regions, the cities of Astana and Almaty upon the assumption of office of the newly elected President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, I HEREBY DECREE:

    1. The akims of the regions, Astana and Almaty cities shall perform their duties until the appointment of the respective akims.

    2. This Decree shall enter into force from the date of signing.
