About renaming the city of Leninogorsk in the East Kazakhstan region

Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 28, 2002 No. 900.

In accordance with Article 9 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 8, 1993 "On the Administrative-territorial structure of the Republic of Kazakhstan" and taking into account the opinion of local representative and executive bodies of the East Kazakhstan region, I hereby decree:

     1. Rename the city of Leninogorsk in the East Kazakhstan region to the city of Ridder.

     2. This Decree comes into force from the date of signing.
