About the AI-Farabi Order

Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 20, 2026 No. 1237.

 In order to encourage citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan and foreign citizens who have achieved significant success in the fields of education, science, culture and spiritual life, I DECREE:

     1. To establish a state award - the Order of "Al-Farabi".

     2. To the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan:

     1) ensure the introduction of amendments to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On State Awards of the Republic of Kazakhstan";

     2) take other measures resulting from this Decree.

     3. The National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan should develop a sketch of the Al-Farabi Order.

     4. This Decree shall enter into force from the date of its signing.
