About the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated September 6, 1995 N 2454.

The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan proposed, and the people of Kazakhstan adopted, the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan in a national referendum on August 30, 1995. In connection with the official publication of the results of the republican referendum and the entry into force of the Constitution on September 5, 1995, I hereby decree:

     1. To publish the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     2. To establish that the original text of the Constitution of the Republic

     Kazakhstan, adopted at the republican referendum on August 30, 1995

     year, kept by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     3. Transfer the original text of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan,

     adopted at the ninth session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan

     of the twelfth convocation on January 28, 1993, for perpetual storage in

     The Central State Archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     4. This Decree comes into force from the date of publication.
