Before taking the military oath, at the command of the commander of the unit, the National Flag of the Republic of Kazakhstan is solemnly hoisted in front of the ranks of military personnel. In a brief speech, the commander of the unit recalls the requirements of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the importance of the military oath in the honorable duty that is imposed on military personnel who have taken the military oath of allegiance to the Fatherland.
After an explanatory speech, the unit commander orders the unit commanders to proceed with taking the military oath.
The commander of companies (batteries) and other units is alternately called out of action by the sworn soldiers of his unit. Everyone taking the military oath reads aloud the text of the military oath in front of the unit, after which he personally signs a special list in the column against his last name and takes his place in the ranks.
The forms of the lists for persons taking the military oath are prepared in advance according to the model established by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan and have on the first sheet the State Emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the text of the military oath.
