About the report of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 1994

ORDER OF THE 3rd PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN dated January 16, 1996 N 2776

  In accordance with Article 3 of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which has the force of Law, Z952155_ "On the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan" and Article 15 of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which has the force of Constitutional Law, Z952733_ "On the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan", having considered the report of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 1994,

p o s t a n o v l I u:      

1. To approve the attached report of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the results of operations for 1994, taking into account the conclusion of the audit firm Arthur Andersen with the balance sheet currency in the amount of 112514 million tenge and profit in the amount of 14495.1 million tenge.      

2. To note the insufficient work of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 1994 in the field of:      

- solving the problem of non-payments in the country's economy, rationalizing the settlement system and introducing progressive forms of their organization;      

- strengthening and developing the national banking system, creating an effective mechanism for regulating the activities of commercial banks;      

- creation of a new regulatory, instructional and methodological framework governing the activities of economic entities in the monetary sphere.      

3. The National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan shall submit for approval to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan a report on the results of its activities for 1995 no later than April 1, 1996. At the same time, we should proceed from the following profit guidance standards of the National Bank:    

The authorized capital is about percent;      

Reserve Fund - 0 percent;      

industrial and social development fund - 85 percent.      

The remaining profits should be allocated to the revenues of the republican budget of 1995.      

4. During 1996, the Chairman of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan shall submit a quarterly report on the work of the National Bank of the Republic for consideration by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.      

The Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Irishev B.K.), in coordination with the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, to determine the specific dates and contents of the quarterly reports of the National Bank, as well as a list of information periodically provided by it on the state of affairs in the monetary sphere and the banking system of the country.
