Article 1. Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan are awarded state awards for their fruitful state, Public, creative activities, labor and military exploits, as a sign of recognition of their merits to the Republic. 1. General Provisions law of the Republic of Kazakhstan on state awards

The State awards of the Republic of Kazakhstan may be such awards to foreign citizens and stateless persons who have services to the Republic of Kazakhstan.

State awards are awarded by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

State awards in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan are established by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
