Article 1. The basic concepts used in this Constitutional Law of the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan On the Astana International Financial Center

     The following basic concepts are used in this Constitutional Law:

     1) The Astana International Financial Center (hereinafter referred to as the Center) is a territory within the city of Astana with precisely defined borders determined by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in which a special legal regime in the financial sphere operates;

     2) stock exchange is a legal entity that provides organizational and technical support for trading in financial instruments at the Center;

     3) licensing – a set of measures related to the issuance of a permit for activities on the territory of the Center that require a license.;

     4) the act of the Center is a written official document adopted by the body of the Center, regulating the relations that arise between the participants of the Center and (or) the bodies of the Center, and (or) their employees;

     5) the participants of the Center are legal entities registered in accordance with the applicable law of the Center, as well as other legal entities accredited by the Center.;

     6) an employee of a participant or body of the Center is an individual who is in an employment relationship with a participant or body of the Center, whose duties include the implementation of the main tasks and goals of the participant or body of the Center.;

     7) family members of an employee of the participant or body of the Center – the spouse of an employee of the participant or body of the Center and their children who have not reached the age of eighteen;

     8) the register of the Center of Identification Numbers is an information system designed to record and store information about the established and discontinued bodies of the Center, their organizations and participants of the Center, the formation and storage of information about assigned identification numbers;

     9) identification number – a unique number generated in the form of a business identification number for the Center's authorities, their organizations and participants of the Center, which allows making entries about information related to them in the registry of the Center of Identification Numbers.
