Article 1. The basic concepts used in this Law of the Law on the Status of a Teacher      

     The following basic concepts are used in this Law:

     1) teacher – a person who has pedagogical or other professional education in the relevant field and carries out the professional activity of a teacher in the education and upbringing of students and (or) pupils, methodological support or organization of educational activities;

     2) pedagogical ethics – the norms of behavior of teachers established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the status of a teacher;

     3) the Council on pedagogical ethics is a collegial body established in educational organizations and territorial divisions of the department of the authorized body in the field of education, which considers issues of teachers' compliance with pedagogical ethics.;

     4) mentoring is the activity of a teacher to provide practical assistance in professional adaptation to a person who has started his professional activity as a teacher in the organization of secondary education for the first time.

 

 

This Law defines the status of a teacher, establishes the rights, social guarantees and restrictions, duties and responsibilities of a teacher.
