Article 1. The President of the Republic of the Constitutional Law On the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. The President of the Republic is the head of state, its highest official, who determines the main directions of domestic and foreign policy of the state and represents Kazakhstan within the country and in international relations.
2. The President of the Republic is a symbol and guarantor of the unity of the people and state power, the inviolability of the Constitution, human and civil rights and freedoms.
3. The President of the Republic ensures the coordinated functioning of all branches of Government and the responsibility of government bodies to the people.
4. The President of the Republic has the right to speak on behalf of the people and the State.
5. The President of the Republic, his honor and dignity are inviolable. Encroachment on the honor and dignity of the President of the Republic is prosecuted by law.
Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 26, 1995 No. 2733.
This Constitutional Law, in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, defines the legal status of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
