The activities subject to control and supervision to ensure flight safety and aviation safety in the field of civil and experimental aviation include:

1) aircraft operation, flight operations and preparation;

2) Air traffic maintenance;

3) provision of aeronautical information, development of instrument flight plans and compilation of aeronautical maps;

4) meteorological support of flights;

5) Aircraft maintenance;

6) aerodrome flight support;

7) radio engineering support of flights and aviation telecommunications;

8) electric lighting support of flights;

9) management of hazards caused by birds and other animals;

10) training and retraining of aviation personnel;

11) medical examination, medical examination, organization of medical care for passengers;

12) emergency and search and rescue support of flights;

13) Excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 29, 2022 No. 174-VII (effective sixty calendar days after the date of its first official publication).

14) Ground handling;

15) activities provided for in paragraph 1 of Article 90 of this Law, which may pose a threat to flight safety;

16) aviation security measures provided for in paragraph 2 of Article 105 of this Law;

17) ensuring information security in the field of civil aviation.

18) ensuring the functioning of the system of mandatory and voluntary reporting of data on aviation events.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 15, 2010 No. 339-IV.

This Law regulates public relations related to the use of the airspace of the Republic of Kazakhstan and aviation activities, and defines the procedure for the use of airspace and aviation activities in order to protect human life and health, the environment, the interests of the state, ensure the safety of aircraft flights and meet the needs of the economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, individuals and legal entities in aviation services.
