Article 10. Diplomatic ranks Chapter 3. Diplomatic ranks of the Law On the Diplomatic Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan

     The following diplomatic ranks are assigned to employees of the diplomatic service, taking into account their position and qualifications:

     1) attache;  

     2) the third secretary;  

     3) Second secretary of the II class;  

     4) Second secretary of the first class;  

     5) First secretary of the II class;  

     6) First secretary of the first class;  

     7) adviser of the II class;  

     8) advisor of the first class;  

     9) Envoy Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the II class;  

     10) Envoy Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the First class;  

     11) Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.  

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 7, 2002, No. 299.

       This Law defines the legal basis, as well as the procedure for organizing the activities of the diplomatic service of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
