1. Geodetic and cartographic activities of public use are financed from budgetary funds.

2. Geodetic and cartographic activities of special and (or) sectoral purposes are carried out at the expense of budgetary funds, as well as funds of individuals and legal entities in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

3. Subjects of geodetic and cartographic activity who are customers and (or) performers of works financed from budgetary funds are obliged to use previously created spatial data.

4. Subjects of geodetic and cartographic activities that maintain state information systems, databases, cadastres, geographic information systems and resources, geoportals, and geoservices funded from budgetary funds are required to use a single digital cartographic framework.
