Article 10. Formation of regional and equivalent courts of the Constitutional Law on the Judicial System and the Status of Judges of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. Regional and equivalent courts (hereinafter referred to as regional courts) are formed, reorganized, renamed and abolished by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the proposal of the Chairman of the Supreme Court, agreed with the Supreme Judicial Council.
2. The total number of judges of regional courts is approved by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the proposal of the Chairman of the Supreme Court, agreed with the Supreme Judicial Council.
The number of judges for each regional court is determined by the Chairman of the Supreme Court in consultation with the Supreme Judicial Council on the basis of a submission from the authorized body.
