1. State support for activities in the field of the defense industry is carried out by providing financial, information and consulting support to organizations of the military-industrial complex, support for the development of human resources, support for foreign economic activity, provision of state preferences and other support measures established by this Law and other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. The laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan may establish the specifics of the application of measures of state support for activities in the field of the defense industry.

3. The application of state support measures for activities in the field of the defense industry is carried out taking into account the need:

1) ensuring the readiness of organizations of the military-industrial complex for the development, production, repair, and modernization of modern weapons and military equipment;

2) creation of an industrial infrastructure for the production of modern weapons and military equipment;

3) improvement of procedures for the placement and execution of the state defense order;

4) improving the efficiency of state property management in the military-industrial complex.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of the defense industry, the state defense order, as well as certain issues of the turnover of weapons and military equipment.
