1. A psychological, medical, and pedagogical consultation is an educational organization that examines and advises children, evaluates special educational needs and special conditions for education, defines an educational program, and directs special psychological and pedagogical support for children with disabilities.

The organization of the activities of psychological, medical and pedagogical consultations is determined by the rules approved by the authorized body in the field of education in coordination with the authorized bodies in the field of public health and social protection of the population.

2. Psychological, medical and pedagogical consultations send children with disabilities to special educational institutions and other organizations to receive medical, special educational and special social services only with the consent of parents and other legal representatives.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 11, 2002 No. 343.

This Law defines the forms and methods of social, medical and pedagogical correctional support for children with disabilities, is aimed at creating an effective system of assistance to children with developmental disabilities, solving problems related to their upbringing, education, labor and vocational training, and preventing childhood disability.
