Article 10. Tariffs of the Law on Transport in the Republic of Kazakhstan
Free (contractual) tariffs (except for the cases provided for in part four of Article 9 of this Law) are established for the carriage of goods, passengers, baggage and services related to transportation, including multimodal transportation.
Regulated tariffs (uniform within the state) may be established for certain types of transport services as a means of implementing the state's social policy or as a means of overcoming monopolistic activities in the field of transport in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Military tariffs are applied for intra-republican transportation of military goods, and tariffs are applied for transportation of military goods outside the Republic of Kazakhstan in accordance with international treaties of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Transportation of military passengers and military cargo carried by baggage and cargo baggage on modes of transport is carried out at the rates applicable to the transportation of passengers, baggage and cargo baggage.
The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated September 21, 1994 No. 156.
This Law defines the foundations of the legal, economic and organizational activities of transport in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
