Article 10. Types of films of the Law On Cinematography
1. By type, films are divided into:
1) an animated film is a film created by using graphic methods and techniques of fine art, as well as computer graphics capabilities with animation of actions and scenes.;
2) a documentary film is a film created on the basis of a scenario plot, in which actual events and facts of reality are recorded in the aggregate, which are interpreted by the director using cinematography, editing and other means.;
3) a feature film is a film created on the basis of a script and embodied by means of acting, directing, cinematography, the work of a production designer, composer and other subjects of relations in the field of cinematography.;
4) a chronicle film is a film in which actual events and facts of reality are recorded.
2. A film of at least fifty-two minutes in length is a full-length film, and a film of less than fifty-two minutes in length is a short film.
This Law regulates public relations and defines the legal, economic and organizational foundations of the field of cinematography.
