Article 10. Ways to ensure access to information The Law on Access to Information
Access to information is provided in the following ways:
1) providing information upon request;
2) by placing information in the premises occupied by the information holders and in other places designated for these purposes;
3) providing access to public meetings;
4) hearing and discussing the reports of the heads of central executive bodies (with the exception of the Ministries of Defense, Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan), akims and heads of national higher educational institutions;
5) by posting information in the mass media;
6) by posting information on the Internet resource of the information owner;
7) by posting information on the relevant components of the e-government web portal;
7-1) compliance with the standard of openness of information holders;
8) in other ways not prohibited by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 16, 2015 No. 401-V SAM.
This Law regulates public relations resulting from the exercise of everyone's constitutional right to freely receive and disseminate information in any manner not prohibited by law.
