Article 11-1. Office of the Prosecutor's Office for the Return of Assets of the Constitutional Law on the Prosecutor's Office

     1. The Office of the Prosecutor's Office for Asset Recovery, on behalf of and in the interests of the State, carries out asset recovery activities, including international legal cooperation, in accordance with this Constitutional Law and the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the return of illegally acquired assets to the State.

     2. Verification of the legality of the sources of acquisition (origin) of an asset, conducted by the Office of the Prosecutor's Office for asset recovery, is carried out by decision of its head in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On the return of illegally Acquired Assets to the State."

     3. The structure of the asset recovery department is approved by the Prosecutor General.

     4. The legal basis and principles of asset recovery activities are determined by this Constitutional Law and other legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     This Constitutional Law defines the competence, organization and procedure of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
