Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan:

1) approves the National Guard's staffing limit;

2) provides the National Guard with logistical resources, food, clothing, weapons, ammunition, military and special equipment, communications equipment and other special technical means;

3) determines the list of important state facilities and communications, special cargoes to be protected by units of the National Guard;

4) establishes tasks for state bodies, institutions and organizations to prepare and transfer vehicles, communications equipment and other logistical means to the National Guard in connection with the announcement of mobilization, the introduction of emergency and martial law regimes, and also establishes other mobilization tasks;

5) provides land plots for the location and permanent operation of military units, training centers and other facilities of the National Guard;

6) takes measures for the social and legal protection, material and household provision of National Guard servicemen, persons in reserve (retired), and their family members;

7) solves other issues of ensuring the activities of the National Guard;

8) performs other functions assigned to him by the Constitution, laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan and acts of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This Law regulates public relations in the sphere of activity of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
