Article 11. Measuring instruments of the Law On Ensuring the Uniformity of Measurements
Measuring instruments are used to determine quantities, the units of which are approved in accordance with the established procedure for use in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Measuring instruments must be metrologically traceable to the state standards of units of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and in their absence – to the national standards of units of other states, the degree of equivalence of which is confirmed in the database of key comparisons of the International Bureau of Weights and Measures.
Measuring instruments also include standard samples and measuring systems.
The establishment of the affiliation of technical means to measuring instruments is carried out by individuals and legal entities that are their manufacturers, suppliers or users, in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on ensuring the uniformity of measurements.
The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 7, 2000 No. 53-II.
This Law regulates public relations that arise between government agencies, individuals and legal entities in the field of ensuring the uniformity of measurements, defines its goals, legal and organizational bases for ensuring the uniformity of measurements.
