The powers of local governments in the field of volunteer activities include:

1) participation in the implementation of state policy in the field of volunteerism;

2) support for mass youth volunteer actions;

3) posting information about volunteer programs (projects) and volunteer actions in the information system of volunteer organizations;

4) other powers defined by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 30, 2016 No. 42-VI SAM.

This Law establishes the legal basis, goals and objectives, principles, forms and types, as well as measures to support volunteer activities.
