Article 11. Safety requirements of machinery and equipment in the production of the Law on Safety of Machinery and Equipment

      1. During production, it is necessary to ensure that the manufacturing process of machinery and equipment meets the requirements of the design documentation, this Law and technical regulations.  

      2. In the manufacture of machinery and equipment, the manufacturer is required to implement the full range of safety and environmental protection measures specified in the design documentation.  

      3. During production, it should be possible to control the performance of all technological operations on which safety depends.  

      4. Operating instructions should be developed during the manufacture of machinery and equipment.  

      The operating instructions should include:  

      1) Installation, assembly, adjustment or adjustment instructions;  

      2) instructions on the normal use of the machine or equipment and safety measures that must be followed during operation (including commissioning, intended use, maintenance, all types of repairs and technical inspections, protective equipment aimed at  

      reducing the intensity and localization of harmful production factors, transportation and storage conditions);  

      3) assigned lifetime indicators and (or) assigned resource;  

      4) a list of critical failures, possible errors by personnel (user) leading to an incident (accident), and actions to prevent these errors;  

      5) criteria of limit states;  

      6) instructions for transportation, storage, decommissioning, destruction and disposal;  

      7) Personnel requirements.  

      5. All machines and equipment must be clearly and indelibly marked with the following information:  

      1) the name of the manufacturer and (or) his trademark;  

      2) the name of the machine and (or) equipment, the designation of the series or type, the number;  

      3) the main indicators of the purpose and conditions of use;  

      4) the date of manufacture.  

      All markings must be explained in the operating instructions.  

      6. Machines and equipment must have the necessary warning labels or signs about hazards, if this is provided for by technical regulations.  

      7. Materials and substances used for machinery and equipment must comply with the requirements established by technical regulations.  

      8. The content of technical documentation for certain types of machinery and equipment is established by technical regulations.  

      9. The manufacturer and the authorized representative are required to keep the technical documentation for ten years from the date of production of the machines and equipment or from the date of production of the last copy of the machine and equipment in the case of mass production.  

 

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 21, 2007 No. 305.

     This Law regulates public relations in determining, establishing, applying and fulfilling requirements for machines and equipment, their life cycle processes, and establishes the legal basis for ensuring safety to ensure the protection of human life, health and the environment.
