1. The author of a selection achievement is recognized as an individual whose creative work created, identified or bred it.

2. If a selection achievement is created by the collective creative work of several persons, all of them are considered its authors (co-authors). The procedure for using the rights belonging to the co-authors is determined by an agreement between them.

3. Persons who have provided only technical, organizational, material (financial) assistance to the author(s) or who have contributed to the preparation and registration of rights to a variety or breed are not recognized as authors.
