Article 11. The family in the Children's village of the Law on Family-type Children's Villages and Youth Homes
1. A family in a children's village is a circle of people (mother-caregiver, pupils) connected by personal non-property rights and duties arising from a new form of child rearing, designed to strengthen family relations and instill skills for work, education and upbringing.
2. In a children's village, the maintenance and upbringing of children is carried out in the family by a mother-educator who has passed a competitive selection in accordance with the procedure determined by the authorized body in the field of education.
3. The regulations on the family in children's villages are approved by the authorized body in the field of education.
The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 13, 2000 No. 113-II.
This Law defines the legal status of family-type children's villages and youth homes established in order to meet the rights of orphaned children and children left without parental care to live and be raised in a family, as well as to comprehensively ensure their moral, spiritual, labor upbringing and education.
