Article 11. The organizational structure of the Public Council and the powers of its Presidium of the Law on Public Councils
1. The supreme body of the Public Council is a meeting.
2. The Presidium of the Public Council is elected for the operational management of the activities of the Public Council between its meetings. The Presidium of the Public Council consists of the Chairman of the Public Council, an authorized representative of a state body, a quasi-public sector entity with whose participation the Public Council was formed, chairmen of commissions, and individual members of the public Council.
3. Deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan who are not members of this Public Council may participate in meetings of the Presidium of the Public Council.
4. The Presidium of the Public Council:
1) coordinates the work of the commissions of the Public Council;
2) organizes the preparation of meetings of the Public Council;
3) provides organizational and informational support for the activities of the Public Council;
4) monitors the implementation of the recommendations of the Public Council..

This Law defines the legal status, procedure for the formation and organization of activities of public councils aimed at implementing state policy on the formation of a state accountable to the population, ensuring the broad participation of non-profit organizations and citizens in decision-making by government agencies at all levels, as well as national management holdings, national holdings, national companies (hereinafter referred to as quasi-public sector entities).
