1. Fingerprint registration is carried out in relation to:

1) the persons specified in paragraph 1 of Article 10 of this Law are the internal affairs bodies, in the case of registration of a passport of a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan in foreign institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the authorized state body in the field of foreign policy;

2) the persons specified in subparagraph 1) of paragraph 2 of Article 10 of this Law – the authorized state body in the field of transport;

3) persons specified in subitems 2) – 4) of paragraph 2 of Article 10 of this Law – internal affairs bodies;

4) persons specified in subparagraph 5) of paragraph 2 of Article 10 of this Law – internal affairs bodies, national security bodies in accordance with their competence;

5) persons specified in subparagraph 6) of paragraph 2 of Article 10 of this Law – the authorized state body in the field of foreign policy activities, internal affairs bodies in accordance with their competence.

2. For children between the ages of twelve and sixteen, fingerprint registration is carried out with their consent in the presence and on the basis of a written application from the child's legal representative.

3. Fingerprint registration of a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a foreigner or a stateless person whose incapacity has been established by a court is carried out in the presence and on the basis of a written application from his guardian.

4. The collection of fingerprint information is carried out in accordance with the rules of fingerprint and genomic registration.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of fingerprint and genomic registration in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
