Article 113-14. The procedure and deadlines for collecting signatures of the Constitutional Law on Elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan

     1. The collection of signatures of citizens for the recall of a deputy elected in a single-mandate territorial electoral district shall be organized by the initiator within thirty calendar days from the date of registration of the application with the relevant territorial election commission.

     2. After the deadline for collecting signatures:

     1) when the number of signatures exceeds ten percent of the total number of voters in the relevant single-mandate territorial electoral district, the initiator submits the signature lists to the relevant election commission.;

     2) if the number of signatures in ten percent of the total number of voters of the relevant single-mandate territorial electoral district is not reached, or if the signature lists are not submitted to the relevant election commissions, the relevant election commission shall decide to invalidate the signature lists and terminate the recall of the deputy elected in the single-mandate territorial electoral district.

     The relevant election commissions, within ten days, verify the authenticity of signatures and places of residence of citizens of this single-mandate territorial electoral district on the signature lists with the involvement of employees of the authorized body for documenting and issuing passports and identity cards.

     3. Every citizen has the right to sign the subscription list only once. The citizen's signature is supplemented with a full indication of his surname, first name, patronymic (if it is indicated in the identity document), place of registration, details of the identity document, and the date of signing the sheet.

     4. Subscription lists of an unidentified sample are invalid.

     Subscription lists filled out in violation of the requirements of this article are not taken into account when counting votes.
