Article 114. Appointment of elections to local self-government bodies of the Constitutional Law on Elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. The basis for the appointment:
1) elections are the end of the term of office of local self-government bodies established by law.;
2) election of a member of a local government body in place of a retired one - early termination of the powers of a member, deprivation of his mandate or his death.
2. Elections of local self-government bodies are appointed by the territorial election commission at least two months before the expiration of the term of office of local self-government bodies and must be held at least one month before the expiration of the term of office established by law.
The procedure for holding elections is determined by the Central Election Commission in accordance with this Constitutional Law.
3. The announcement of the election day is published in the local mass media.
