Article 12-1. Accounting of terrorist organizations, information materials recognized as terrorist, and persons held accountable for carrying out terrorist activities by the Law on Combating Terrorism
1. In order to prevent, detect and suppress terrorism, a State body that carries out statistical activities in the field of legal statistics and special accounting within its competence, on the basis of court decisions, keeps records of terrorist organizations, information materials recognized as terrorist, and persons held accountable for terrorist activities.
2. When a court recognizes an organization as terrorist and prohibits its activities through its liquidation for carrying out terrorist activities, as well as recognizing information materials as terrorist or holding persons accountable for carrying out terrorist activities, the court must immediately send information accounting documents to the state body carrying out statistical activities in the field of legal statistics and special accounting within its competence.
3. The state body, which carries out statistical activities in the field of legal statistics and special accounting within its competence, maintains unified lists of organizations and information materials recognized by the court as terrorist.
These lists are subject to posting on the Internet resource of the state body that carries out statistical activities in the field of legal statistics and special accounting within its competence.
The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 13, 1999 No. 416.
This Law establishes the principles, purpose, legal and organizational basis for countering terrorism.
