Article 12-2. State control in the field of state statistics in relation to respondents The Law on State Statistics
1. State control in the field of state statistics in relation to respondents is carried out by the relevant state statistical bodies without visiting the respondents in accordance with this Law.
2. State control without visiting respondents is carried out in the form of detecting the failure of respondents to provide primary statistical data within the time limits specified in the schedule for the submission of primary statistical data by respondents, as well as their submission of unreliable primary statistical data.
3. State control without visiting the respondent is carried out within the time limits established in the statistical form by analyzing:
1) statistical forms submitted by respondents in accordance with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of state statistics;
2) information received at the request of the territorial divisions of the authorized body in the field of state statistics, within the limits of its competence – during the production of official statistical information to confirm the reliability of primary statistical data.
4. If the respondents' submission of unreliable primary statistical data is detected, the state statistical authorities, with the exception of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, notify the respondent using the contact information provided by the respondent in the previously submitted statistical forms (cellular subscriber number, e-mail address) of the need to make corrections to statistical forms containing primary statistical data by re-submitting the statistical form. or providing additional information, confirming the accuracy of the submitted primary statistical data, within one business day.
If there are sufficient grounds indicating that the respondents provided unreliable primary statistical data, the state statistical authorities initiate proceedings on an administrative offense in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on administrative offenses.
5. If it is revealed that the respondents have failed to provide primary statistical data within the time limits specified in the schedule for the respondents' submission of primary statistical data, the state statistical authorities initiate proceedings on an administrative offense and require the respondent to submit appropriate statistical forms with primary statistical data by sending a message to the contact information indicated by the respondent in the previously submitted statistical forms, or to the contact information obtained from official sources (cellular subscriber number, email address).

This Law regulates public relations arising in the process of state statistical activity, as well as in determining the quality of administrative data, and is aimed at meeting the needs of society, the State and the international community for official statistical information.
