1. The Chairman of the Assembly heads the Assembly, the Council of the Assembly and carries out the general management of the Assembly's activities.

2. Chairman of the Assembly:

1) approves the Assembly's program documents and gives instructions on their implementation;

1-1) is excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 04/27/2018 No. 149-VI (effective from the date of its first official publication);

2) makes appeals and statements in the mass media and international organizations on behalf of the Assembly.

3. The Chairman of the Assembly has the right to delegate part of his powers to the Vice-Chairmen of the Assembly.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 20, 2008 No. 70-IV.

This Law defines the status, procedure for the formation and organization of the work of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan aimed at implementing state policy to ensure public harmony and national unity, increasing the effectiveness of interaction between government agencies, organizations and institutions of civil society in the field of interethnic relations.
