 1. Local executive bodies of regions, cities of republican significance, and the capital:

1) organize, together with the internal affairs bodies, ensuring public safety in the territories of regions, cities of republican significance, and the capital;

2) form a consultative and advisory body to facilitate the activities of bodies and institutions executing criminal penalties and measures of criminal legal impact, as well as to organize social and other assistance to persons who have served criminal sentences;

3) ensure the maintenance of the staffing of the administrative police and probation service at the expense of regional budgets and budgets of cities of republican significance, the capital within the limits approved by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

4) provide for the maintenance, maintenance and repair of office premises, radio communications, mobile and portable video recorders, vehicles, including the purchase of fuels and lubricants, as well as the costs of utilities, electricity, heating and communication services of probation services and territorial internal affairs bodies, with the exception of the costs of paying for e-mail services, videoconferencing and video surveillance systems of the situation centers of the offices of territorial bodies funded from the republican budget;

5) provide district police inspectors and probation services with rooms equipped with furniture, communication facilities for working in serviced areas, as well as vehicles;

6) exercise, in the interests of local government, other powers assigned to local executive bodies by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. Local executive bodies of districts and cities of regional significance:

1) organize, together with the internal affairs bodies, the provision of public security on the territory of the relevant administrative-territorial unit;

2) organize, together with the internal affairs bodies, a meeting (gathering) of the local community to appoint district police inspectors, taking into account the opinion of the population of the administrative area on the territory of the relevant administrative-territorial unit;

3) form a consultative and advisory body to facilitate the activities of bodies and institutions executing criminal penalties and measures of criminal legal impact, as well as to organize social and other assistance to persons who have served criminal sentences;

4) exercise, in the interests of local government, other powers assigned to local executive bodies by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 23, 2014 No. 199-V SAM.

This Law regulates public relations in the sphere of activity of the internal affairs bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
