State bodies within their competence:

1) participate in the formation and implementation of industrial policy;

2) provide the authorized bodies in the field of state stimulation of industry and state support of innovation activities with information on the implementation of measures of state stimulation of industry and support of innovation;

3) provide the authorized body in the field of regulation of foreign trade activities with information on the promotion of non-primary exports;

4) develop, within their competence, measures to promote non-primary exports, taking into account the international obligations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and promote it;

5) ensure the implementation of documents of the State Planning System in the Republic of Kazakhstan;

5-1) participate in the evaluation of applicants' production for inclusion in the register of Kazakhstani commodity producers;

6) exercise other powers provided for by this Law, other laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, acts of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This Law establishes the fundamental principles of industrial policy and regulates public relations that arise during the formation and implementation of industrial policy.
