The competence of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of geodesy, cartography and spatial data includes:

1) development of the main directions of state policy in the field of geodesy, cartography and spatial data;

2) establishment of state reference systems and cartographic projections;

3) approval of rules for the submission of spatial data to the National Spatial Data Infrastructure;

4) excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 04/19/2023 No. 223-VII (effective ten calendar days after the date of its first official publication).
