1. The activity of the postal operator in providing expedited and (or) courier postal services consists in forwarding mail items, taking into account their expedited (express) processing, transportation, delivery and (or) delivery of mail items and (or) taking into account the transportation and delivery of such mail items by the courier of the postal operator.

2. The expedited and courier mail service includes:

1) receiving mail items;

2) processing, sorting, storage, transportation and delivery of mail items;

3) delivery of mail items;

4) notification of the sender about the delivery of the postal item.

This Law establishes the legal basis of activities and regulates public relations in the field of mail in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, defines the rights and obligations of subjects of postal activity, and the competence of state bodies in the field of mail.
