Article 12. Expert advice The Law on Valuation Activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. The Expert Council is a body of the Chamber of Appraisers, the purpose of which is to conduct an expert examination of the assessment report.
The regulations on the activities of the expert council are approved by the general meeting of the members of the Chamber of Appraisers.
2. The Expert Council of the Chamber of Appraisers is formed from among appraisers who have a certificate of qualification "expert".
The Expert Council of the Chamber of Appraisers consists of at least five experts.
A member of the expert council is elected Chairman of the expert council by a simple majority vote of experts at a meeting of the expert council for a two-year term. The same person may not be elected Chairman twice in a row.
3. The members of the Expert Council are elected by the general meeting of the members of the Chamber of Appraisers for a two-year term.
Members of the expert council may be re-elected for a new term, as well as be excluded from the expert council ahead of schedule on the grounds provided for by this Law.
This Law regulates public relations related to the implementation of valuation activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan, and also defines the legal basis for regulating valuation activities.
