Article 12. Governing bodies of a self-regulating organization The Law on Self-Regulation
The governing bodies of a self-regulating organization are:
1) general meeting of members (participants) of a self-regulatory organization;
2) the collegial governing body of a self-regulating organization;
3) the executive management body of a self-regulating organization;
4) the control body (audit commission) of the self-regulating organization.
In a self-regulating organization, the functions of a collegial governing body may be performed by a general meeting of the members (participants) of the self-regulating organization.
The terms and procedure for electing the heads and members of the governing bodies of a self-regulating organization are established by the charter of the self-regulating organization and (or) the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This Law regulates public relations related to the self-regulation of business and professional entities in the Republic of Kazakhstan, defines the conditions for the establishment and functioning of self-regulatory organizations, membership (participation) in them and their legal status.
