Article 12. Income and expenses of a charitable organization The Law on Charity
1. The income of a charitable organization is generated from the following sources:
1) donation, bequest or gratuitous transfer of property, as well as rights to it;
2) voluntary donations;
3) income from charity auctions, contests;
4) investment income from asset management of the endowment fund (endowment capital);
4-1) charitable grants;
5) income received from entrepreneurial activity;
6) the income of benefactors from the performance of works, the provision of services, the transfer of the results of personal creative activity;
7) reimbursement by benefactors of expenses for the maintenance of charity facilities;
8) other sources provided for by this Law, laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, international treaties of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2. The proceeds are spent by the benefactors on:
1) one-time or multiple charitable assistance during the year;
2) long-term charitable assistance;
3) assistance in conducting social advertising;
4) carrying out the activities of a charitable organization;
5) other measures in accordance with this Law, the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, international treaties of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
3. Charity activities are reflected in the charity program, with the exception of cases provided for by this Law.
4. The provision of voluntary donations is not reflected in the charity program.
