1. An information center shall be established and operated in accordance with the procedure determined by the authorized body for interaction with the Secretariat of the World Trade Organization, members of the World Trade Organization, international and foreign standardization organizations in order to provide consulting services and provide interested parties and foreign states with copies of documents and information on:

1) technical regulations in force or being developed, veterinary, sanitary and phytosanitary measures, standardization documents and amendments thereto, procedures for confirming the conformity of products, services;

2) membership or participation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in international organizations and international agreements of a bilateral and multilateral nature in the field of standardization, technical regulation, accreditation, veterinary and phytosanitary, in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population;

3) sources of publication of drafts of developed and adopted technical regulations, standardization documents, veterinary, sanitary and phytosanitary measures and procedures for confirming the conformity of products, services or information about them.

2. Interaction with the Secretariat of the World Trade Organization and members of the World Trade Organization on issues related to the obligations of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the World Trade Organization is carried out through the Information Center on the World Trade Organization in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the regulation of trade activities.

3. The information provided for in paragraph 1 of this Article shall be posted in the form of notifications on the Information Center's Internet resource.

The forms, the procedure for filling out and submitting notifications are determined by the authorized body.

This Law establishes the fundamental principles of technical regulation that arise when establishing and fulfilling requirements for products, related processes, and the provision of services, and also defines the legal basis for the functioning of the state system of technical regulation.
