1. Track work, including work on the establishment and maintenance of roadsteads in state-owned ports and approaches to the berths of these ports, as well as the maintenance of navigable hydraulic structures (locks) and the organization of technological communication by the carrier are carried out by enterprises of the authorized body, with the exception of the navigable section of the Yesil River within the administrative-territorial border of the capital.

2. The owners of the ports are required to carry out travel work on the approaches to ports (not specified in paragraph 1 of this Article), as well as at the anchorage points.

2-1. Provision of track works on the navigable section of the Yesil River within the administrative-territorial border of the capital is carried out by the Akimat of the capital.

3. Maintenance work on inland waterways and navigable hydraulic structures (locks) on them is carried out without special permits for track work.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 6, 2004 No. 574.

This Law regulates public relations that arise between government agencies, individuals and legal entities in the field of inland waterway transport during navigation, transportation of passengers, baggage and cargo, operation of small vessels, including on bodies of water not related to inland waterways and sea waters, and also defines their rights, duties and responsibilities..
