Article 12. The diplomatic passport of the Republic of Kazakhstan The Law on Identity Documents

     1. The diplomatic passport of the Republic of Kazakhstan is issued to officials according to the list approved by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     2. The head of the authorized state body carrying out foreign policy activities, in agreement with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, has the right to issue a diplomatic passport of the Republic of Kazakhstan to persons not listed in the list.

     3. Spouses and children under the age of eighteen of persons holding a diplomatic passport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in case of their joint departure on long-term business trips abroad, are also issued diplomatic passports.

     4. The diplomatic passport of the Republic of Kazakhstan is issued for a period of validity of five years.

 

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 29, 2013 No. 73-V.

     This Law defines the legal basis of identity documents, establishes requirements for their registration, and regulates activities related to the production, issuance, replacement, delivery, seizure and destruction of identity documents.
