Article 12. The validity of the contract of compulsory insurance of an employee against accidents of the Law On Compulsory insurance of an employee against accidents in the performance of his labor (official) duties

1. An employee's compulsory accident insurance contract shall enter into force and become binding on the parties from the date established by the employee's compulsory accident insurance contract.

2. An employee's compulsory accident insurance contract is concluded for a period of twelve months from the date of its entry into force, with the exception of the case provided for in paragraph 3 of this Article.

The employee's compulsory accident insurance contract is valid for the entire insurance period and does not terminate upon the first occurrence of an insured event.

3. If the employer's activity is carried out for a period of less than twelve months, the contract is concluded for the duration of this activity.

This Law regulates public relations arising in the field of compulsory employee accident insurance and establishes the legal, economic and organizational basis for its implementation.
