Article 12. Toy Safety Electrical Safety Requirements of the Toy Safety Act
In order to ensure the electrical safety of toys, the following requirements are established::
1) the rated voltage of power supplies for children's toys, as well as on individual parts of the toy, should not exceed twenty-four volts;
2) toy parts that can cause electric shock when in contact with an electrical source, as well as cables, wires or conductors conducting electricity to toy parts, must be insulated and mechanically protected.;
3) Electric toys must be designed and manufactured in such a way as to guarantee protection from burns when in contact with all maximally heated parts.
The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 21, 2007 No. 306.
This Law regulates public relations regarding the definition, establishment, application, execution and control of toy safety requirements.
