Article 124. Precinct commissions of the Social Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. Precinct commissions assist local executive bodies and akims of a settlement, village, or rural district in providing targeted social assistance to the population.
Precinct commissions prepare conclusions on the financial situation of individuals (families) who have applied for targeted social assistance.
2. Precinct commissions may consist of representatives of local government bodies, public associations, associations of property owners, apartment buildings, the public, organizations and authorized bodies of education, health, social protection of the population, law enforcement officials.
3. Precinct commissions shall carry out their activities in accordance with the regulations on precinct commissions approved by the local executive bodies of regions, cities of republican significance, and the capital in coordination with local representative bodies.
A standard regulation on precinct election commissions, as well as criteria for determining the need for targeted social assistance based on the results of an examination of the applicant's financial situation, are developed and approved by the authorized state body.
