Article 13-1. The National Paralympic Movement. National Paralympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan The Law on Physical Culture and Sports
1. The National Paralympic Movement is an integral part of the international Paralympic movement, whose goals are to promote and implement the principles of the Paralympic movement, promote the development of physical culture and sports among athletes with disabilities in Paralympic sports, strengthen international sports cooperation, participate in the Paralympic Games and other international sporting events held under the auspices of the International Paralympic Committee.
2. The National Paralympic Movement is headed by the National Paralympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which is a public association operating in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on public associations, with the Set of Rules of the International Paralympic Committee and on the basis of recognition by the International Paralympic Committee, as well as in accordance with its charter. The State recognizes and supports the national Paralympic movement, providing all possible assistance to the National Paralympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the implementation of its statutory goals.
3. National Paralympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan:
1) promotes the principles of the Paralympic movement in the state, promotes the development of high-level Paralympic sports and mass sports;
2) represents, in accordance with the Code of Rules of the International Paralympic Committee, the Republic of Kazakhstan at the Paralympic Games and other international sporting events held under the auspices of the International Paralympic Committee;
3) represents the Republic of Kazakhstan in the International Paralympic Committee;
4) in cooperation with the authorized body in the field of physical culture and sports, implements a unified policy for the development of high-performance Paralympic sports and mass sports;
5) participates in the development and implementation of measures aimed at ensuring the necessary level of training for athletes with disabilities in the Republic of Kazakhstan to participate in the Paralympic Games and other international sporting events held under the auspices of the International Paralympic Committee;
6) in coordination with the authorized body in the field of physical culture and sports and the local executive body of the region, the city of republican significance, the capital, may submit to the International Paralympic Committee an application for the candidate city of the Republic of Kazakhstan to host the Paralympic Games.;
7) coordinates the appointment and dismissal of the head coaches of the national teams of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Paralympic sports (national teams in Paralympic sports) and state coaches in Paralympic sports. - Excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
4. The National Paralympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in accordance with the Set of Rules of the International Paralympic Committee, implements measures to protect the rights of the International Paralympic Committee to use the Paralympic symbol, motto, flag and anthem, the names "Paralympic Games", "Paralympic Games" on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The National Paralympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan has exclusive rights to the Paralympic emblem of the National Paralympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the motto, the flag and other national Paralympic symbols.
5. The performances of the national teams of the Republic of Kazakhstan in sports at the Paralympic Games and other international sporting events held under the patronage of the International Paralympic Committee are carried out under the National Flag of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
6. The National Paralympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan exercises its powers to develop high-level Paralympic sports and mass sports, as well as to ensure the necessary level of training for athletes with disabilities in the Republic of Kazakhstan to participate in the Paralympic Games and other international sporting events held under the auspices of the International Paralympic Committee, in cooperation with the authorized body in the field of physical culture. sports and national accredited sports federations.
7. The National Paralympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan implements its statutory tasks through its own sources of funding, charitable assistance, and voluntary donations from individuals and legal entities.
8. The National Paralympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan has the right to receive state assignments in accordance with the budget legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of physical culture and sports, defines the legal, organizational, economic and social foundations for ensuring the activities and development of mass physical culture, amateur and professional sports in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
